Rick Boling: I began my professional career as a guitarist, keyboard player, and vocalist, working with several rock bands around the southeastern US and serving as a studio musician. In my early thirties I became a luthier, building acoustic guitars and doing stringed instrument repairs and restorations at my shop in central Florida. I later took up writing, and for 30 years was a prolific journalist, publishing some 2,000 articles in dozens of magazines. I have since served as Editor in Chief of a leisure sports magazine, published four novels (three under a pen name), and several short stories. "Then Again" is the first novel I have published under my real name.
